IOGCC CCGS Task Force member, Bachu receives designation of Distinguished Scientist

January 2, 2010 (Edmonton Journal) written by Dave Cooper.  The Alberta Research Council has given Stefan Bachu the designation of Distiinguished Scientist-- a title bestowed on only four other scientists in the council's 88-year history. Bachu's expertise in CCS, his work over the decades, his record of successful projects and his list of national and international collaborations convinced the council to make the rare award, only the fifth in its 88-year history.

Dr. Bachu serves as a member of the IOGCC Carbon Capture and Geologic Storage Task Force and has contributed to both Phase I and Phase II of the project.
