Monday, July 18, 2011 (The Oklahoma Daily) A workshop will take place this week that is expected to bring petroleum engineers from all over the country to Norman to explore the techniques of hydraulic fracturing.

The workshop is the third part of a series that began in 2009, said Carl Sondergeld, professor in the Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering and coordinator of Shales Moving Forward.
