Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, Chapter 3 Drilling Rules; Wyoming DEQ Water Quality Division, Chapter 24, Class VI Injection Wells and Facilities.
On August 16, 2010, by his signature, Governor Dave Freudenthal approved carbon sequestration unitization rules (Chapter 3, Section 43) as adopted on June 8, 2010. The approved rules were filed on August 17, 2010, with the Secretary of State. With the rules approved and filed, compliance with these rules was effective September 15, 2010.
DEQ Water Quality Division's final rule --Chapter 24, Class VI Injection Wells and Facilities--was adopted by the Environmental Quality Council on September 9, 2010 and signed by Governor David Freudenthal on November 5, 2010.
