No orphan wells currently exist in Newfoundland and Labrador. Offshore wells operations are subject to the Newfoundland Offshore Petroleum Drilling and Production Regulations under the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Atlantic Accord Implementation Newfoundland and Labrador Act.
